The Library Entrance

Library teaching space and entrance

To update the Library the entrance needs to be reconsidered.  At present the teaching space is as patrons walk in the door.  This is difficult for both teachers and students as the distractions are numerous.  It has been thought that the teaching space could be where the non-fiction collection is currently housed.\ and move the non -fiction collection the the current journal area – interfiling the  journals.  There is much to think about and any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is the St Paul’s Grammar School High School Library building.  It was opened in 1989 and then extended to its present size in 1996.

This blog is about looking at various ideas and options for renovating the inside of the building to better cater for Library operations for staff and students in today’s world.

Various ideas will be collected, canvassed and comments would be appreciated.
